Post-Lesson Reflections

You are required to write two (2) reflection papers after attending designated CSE 198 lessons.

Requirements

  • Count: 2 Total.
  • Length: 1–2 pages each (double spaced, 12pt font, pick any serif font).
  • Topic: Reflect on the lesson delivery, student engagement, and your role. You might choose to talk about what went well, what could be improved, or a mix of both.

Content Guidelines

Your reflection must include:

  1. Observation: What happened during the lesson? How did students react to the material?
  2. Analysis: What went well? What could be improved? Were there topics that students didn’t quite understand? If so, why do you think that was?
  3. Pedagogy Research: Summarize a relevant piece of pedagogy literature (paper, article, or theory) and apply it to your observation. (You may use the same pedagogy for both reflecitons.)
    • Example: “I observed students struggling with variable scoping. According to [Author]’s theory on mental models…”
    • Example: “I researched the teachng pedagogy of Active Questioning, and I applied it to my observation of a lesson on internet networking by…”
